MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK – DAY 3
Theme: Understand & Be Understood
Day 3 of our Mental Health Awareness Week focused on the importance of listening, expressing emotions, and understanding one another.
Our middle school students from Grades 4, 5 & 6 participated enthusiastically in fun and meaningful activities. They enjoyed the Story Chain game, adding their own creative twists while learning the value of listening and building on each other’s ideas.
Students also took part in “Sometimes I Feel where they anonymously shared their thoughts and emotions. These messages were added to our Emotions Wall, creating a beautiful reminder that every feeling is valid and everyone deserves to be heard and understood.
Through laughter, creativity and honest expression, students discovered that understanding begins when we listen with empathy.
Be kind. Listen. Understand.
