The corridors and assembly hall of Sunbeam Annapurna are forever etched in my memory, sometimes even appearing in vague dreams, despite my not having set foot on the premises for many years.
As I write this, sitting in a café far, far away from home, I fondly reminisce about the six formative years I spent at Annapurna from 2003 to 2009, witnessing the school building transform over those years. I remember the time spent in the Activity Room (I don’t think it exists anymore), preparing for Inter-House competitions, and later moving to the newly built Multimedia Room (I don’t think it’s called that anymore) to prepare for the first-ever team sent to CMS Lucknow for an international competition — Eureka 2005.
I am incredibly thankful to all my teachers at Annapurna for shaping my journey and for giving me the opportunity to represent the school at various levels. Staying true to the school’s motto: Where Perfection is a Way of Life, I have strived to make it my way of life as well.
