Scientist (US) BATCH - 2012

A few lines about yourself (memories, achievements, or a message for current students): I'm a scientist studying how human papillomavirus (HPV) controls protein production in infected cells, which helps us better understand and fight viral infections. HPV is a very common virus that can lead to cancers. By understanding how HPV manipulates the cell's machinery to produce proteins, we can develop better strategies to prevent and treat these infections.
One of my favorite memories from high school was participating in debates—those moments sparked my curiosity and set me on the path to research. My advice to current students is to stay curious, work hard, and never be afraid to explore new ideas, because science can truly change lives.
Warm regards,
