BETI BACHAO
BETI PADHAO
Evening School, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, witnessed a heartwarming event – the distribution of free winter uniforms to all students. The atmosphere was electric, with excitement, gratitude, and cheerfulness palpable among the students.
Receiving a new set of winter uniforms brought immense joy to the students. For many parents, buying new uniforms was a significant burden, and they were overjoyed to receive this generous gift. Their eyes sparkled with gratitude for our honourable Director Ma'am, Mrs. Manju Gaur for her unwavering commitment to provide not only quality education but also catering to the students' everyday needs.
In a remarkable display of unity and tradition, the charity cricket match between the Gorakhpur Lions and the Meerut Mavericks took on a special significance this Raksha Bandhan. The event was graced by the presence of students from the evening school, a cause that is particularly close to the heart of our Director Ma’am. These students tied Rakhis on the wrists of players from both teams, symbolizing the enduring bond of brotherhood and sisterhood.
This gesture of tying Rakhis served as a poignant reminder of the values of protection, care, and mutual respect, extending beyond the cricket field and into our communities. As we celebrated the spirit of Raksha Bandhan, the event encapsulated the essence of unity in diversity, reinforcing our commitment to standing together, both in sports and in life.
The Pehel Club teamed up with Beti Bachao Beti Padhao for an empowering session on Puberty and Girl Hygiene! 🚺🩺 Our dedicated students, under the "Each One Teach One" initiative, shared essential knowledge about puberty changes and personal hygiene, helping young girls feel confident and informed. This collaboration is expanding the reach and impact of BBBP, fostering a community of empowered and educated girls. Let's continue to learn and grow together!
We are beyond delighted to announce that our Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Grade XII students have achieved remarkable success! This achievement is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of our dedicated faculty. Together, we will continue to champion the cause of BBBP and empower our girls to dream big and achieve greatness.
It was truly a privilege to announce the opening of admissions for underprivileged girls in our evening school, inspired by the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program initiated by our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
The most delightful aspect of any celebration is the presence of innocent smiles. On the occasion of our Mall's 4th Anniversary, we had the privilege of celebrating alongside hundreds of girls from underprivileged families who attend our Gaurs International School's free evening classes.
Mrs. Manju Gaur, Director, GIS who is deeply inspired by our Honourable Prime Minister’s vision of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme started the Free Evening School with just 40 girls belonging to underprivileged families. Today this number has reached 400.
These girls are daughters of hawkers, vegetable vendors, daily wage labourers, drivers, conductors, and guards. We currently provide them with “Free Education” from Grade II-XII, with facilities, infrastructure, and faculty totally at par with those of our morning school.
PM Shri Narendra Modi spoke to them individually to assess and understand the evening school programme. He was very pleased and impressed by the students and appreciated this noble initiative of Gaurs International School.
The students of Gaurs International Evening School got an opportunity to welcome our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji on 13th February at Talkatora Stadium, for Credai Youthcon 19.
