Welcome to Kundan Vidya Mandir!

Late Shri Kundan Lal Ji, the founder of Kundan Vidya Mandir, was a self-made industrialist, a man of scientific temper, and a visionary deeply committed to education and nation building.

Associated with great national leaders such as Late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, he actively participated in India's freedom struggle and strongly believed that education was the foundation of a progressive and empowered nation.

In 1941, while India's nationalist leaders were fighting for independence, Shri Kundan Lal Ji initiated his own mission in Ludhiana - the Quit Illiteracy Movement. Driven by a strong sense of patriotism and social responsibility, he founded Kundan Vidya Mandir at Daresi, in the heart of Ludhiana, with the aim of nurturing educated, responsible citizens and instilling a spirit of patriotism, nationalism, and excellence among students.

His untiring efforts, dedication, and unwavering vision soon transformed Kundan Vidya Mandir into a leading name in educational circles.

As the demand for quality education grew, Shri Kundan Lal Ji expanded his vision by establishing another campus in Civil Lines, Ludhiana, laying the foundation for the institution's continued growth and excellence.

After his demise, his vision and ideals were carried forward by Shri Kundan Lal Trust and Managing Committee comprising eminent educationists, industrialists, and bureaucrats, ensuring that his legacy continues to inspire generations.

Today, Kundan Vidya Mandir stands as a living tribute to the ideals of its founder - a legacy built on vision, service, patriotism, and the transformative power of education.
