Sunbeam International, Varuna has already been upgraded to IGCSE (Classes IX-X) which will be subsequently upgraded to AS + A Level (XI-XII).

School timings - 7.00 am to 1.30 pm (Summer) 8:00 am to 2:30 pm (Winter)

Admission test taken for Sunbeam International, Varuna at any branch of Sunbeam will be consider valid. Entrance papers made by the respective branch as per the usual paper pattern will used for the entrance test at that particular branch, but the final decision will be taken by School Head, SIV. The process will be – the papers will be sent with the parent to SIV.

Yes, with the application-based teaching-learning approach, it will in fact be beneficial for the child.

English, Maths, Science, Global Perspective, Computing, Hindi, Social Science, G.K. French, Sanskrit as per the Indian System. Students will also study, Dance, Music, Art & Craft, Life Skills & Focused Activities.

Non Sunbeam Students will be charged Rs. 2500/- for the registration form. No Charges for Sunbeam Students.

Sunbeam Students can get into Sunbeam International, Varuna only by applying for transfer. No internal transfer will be charged. The parent will be asked to visit Sunbeam International, Varuna with the transfer papers. For outside students the registration form will be available for Rs. 2500/-

No entrance exam for Students getting transfer from any other Branch. But Entrance Exam for External Students will be there for which we will use our usual internal papers.

Admission forms for Sunbeam International, Varuna, (School and Hostel) are available at all Sunbeam Schools Fee counters for classes I – IX from 16th November, 2024.

IGCSE(Classes IX-X)

The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) administered by University of Cambridge is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14-16 years old. Cambridge IGCSE provides a diverse curriculum catering to 21st century learning. It offers a variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities, including those whose first language is not English. IGCSE is well recognised in India as equivalent to Grade X and used as a preparatory level for AS/A level, International Baccalaureate (IBDP) or any other higher secondary examinations.

Cambridge IGCSE assessments takes place at the end of the course (Class X) in March

Yes, Cambridge IGCSE is recognized by CBSE, CISCE and state education boards in India, as a qualification to enter in grades XI or for any other higher secondary educational courses. It is also recognized as grade X qualification.

IGCSE helps the students to develop key learning, problem solving and investigative skills by encouraging an active, critical and questioning approach to study. With a choice of core and extended papers in most of the subjects, IGCSE is suitable for students with different levels of ability. The focus of IGCSE is on ‘how to learn’ rather than ‘what to learn’.

After completing IGCSE, a student gets qualified for to take admission in any +2 board

Yes. A child is encouraged to have proper aptitude that makes the transition from any local board to IGCSE easy. Bridge classes in certain topics will be provided to the students so that they may not feel demotivated and discouraged in going through IGCSE curriculum.

No, the best of five policy is not applicable in IGCSE results as of now.
