Sustainability means using our resources wisely today so that they remain available for future generations. Inspired by our Honourable Director Ma’am’s initiative towards protecting and preserving nature, the Evening School presented a special assembly based on the theme of Sustainability. The assembly began with a soulful prayer, followed by Ganesh Vandana, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The students then presented a series of creative and thought-provoking performances highlighting the importance of caring for our environment. Through dance performances, speeches, and an environmental oath, the students conveyed the message that every individual has an important role to play in protecting our planet. They beautifully highlighted the 4Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Refuse—and showed how simple, responsible choices can contribute to a cleaner and greener future.
The assembly concluded with an encouraging and inspiring address by our Honourable Director Ma’am, who shared her values, ideologies, and valuable lessons with the students, motivating them to become responsible and environmentally conscious citizens. The programme was followed by a Sustainability Exhibition, where students proudly showcased models and projects based on eco-friendly practices. They explained their projects in detail, covering themes such as clean energy, decomposition, waste management, paper bags, recycling, and sustainable living. The entire programme was a meaningful reminder that protecting nature is not just a responsibility—it is a shared commitment towards building a better future.
