Guidelines for Transport

1. Transport Fee: Transport fees are payable quarterly along with the Composite Fee and must be paid
by the 10th of the first month of each quarter.
2. Mid-Term Transport Facility: For new/mid-term transport applications or route changes, fees will be
applicable from the 1st day of the month in which the facility is availed. The facility will commence from
the next Monday, subject to seat availability.
3. Non-Payment of Fee: Students are not permitted to use school transport without payment of the
prescribed fee. Unauthorized use may attract recovery of the transport fee from the beginning of the
academic session, along with applicable late fees/penalties.
4. Timely Reporting: Students must reach their designated pick-up point at least 5 minutes before the
scheduled pick-up time.
5. Assigned Route: Students may travel only on their allotted bus route. No change of route or stop will
be permitted without prior approval.
6. Safety & Conduct: Students must remain seated while the bus is moving, must not put any part of
their body outside the bus, and must not approach the bus door until the vehicle has completely
stopped. Shouting, unruly behaviour, or distracting the driver is strictly prohibited.
7. Damage to Bus: Students may be held responsible for any damage caused to school buses due to
negligence or vandalism.
8. Pick-up & Drop-off: Parents/guardians are responsible for the child until boarding and after alighting
from the bus. Parents/guardians must ensure their availability at the designated drop-off point.
9. Unattended Child: If no authorised parent/guardian is available at the designated drop-off point, the
child will be brought back to school. The parent/guardian will be responsible for collecting the child from
school.
10. Parent Communication: Parents are not permitted to board the school bus to discuss concerns. All
transport-related concerns must be communicated to the Transport In-charge.
11. Withdrawal: Mid-quarter withdrawal of transport is not permitted. No refund or fee adjustment will
be made for the remaining period of the quarter.
12. Notice for Withdrawal: A written request for withdrawal must be submitted at least 30 days before
the commencement of the next quarter.
13. Classes X & XII: Withdrawal of transport facility during the January–March quarter is not permitted
for students of Classes X and XII.
14. Late Payment: The School reserves the right to discontinue transport services with immediate effect
if the transport fee is not paid by the 21st of the first month of the quarter.

15. Service Disclaimer: School transport is a facility provided by the School. Routes, stops and timings
are subject to operational feasibility, traffic and other unavoidable circumstances.
