Varnika – Where Tradition Leaves Its Print
At Sunbeam Sarnath, learning is deeply rooted in the culture and values of our land. Varnika, our Block Printing & Design Project, celebrates the timeless artistry of Banaras while nurturing the reflective spirit of Sarnath.
Through Varnika, students immerse themselves in the traditional craft of block printing—an art form that adorns fabrics with colours, motifs, and stories. Just as the name suggests, Varnika embodies the idea of being “adorned with colours” and “leaving an imprint”, symbolising how tradition leaves its mark on both fabric and the learner’s mind.
By creating their own products, our learners not only carry forward the legacy of Banaras but also embody the essence of Sarnath a place of knowledge, creativity, and transformation. This initiative bridges heritage with modern education, inspiring students to take pride in their roots while shaping a future that is innovative, meaningful, and culturally enriched.
